CCIDS and Maine EPSCoR STEM Publication is a Pathways to Science Featured Link

Pathways to ScienceA recent publication developed by the University of Maine Center for Community Inclusion and Disability Studies, in collaboration with Maine EPSCoR, is a featured link in the Pathways to Science online resource library. Increasing Access and Success in the STEM Disciplines: A Model for Supporting the Transition of High School Students with Disabilities into STEM-Related Postsecondary Education, contains a package of evidenced-based transition supports that can be used by educators or instructors with high school students with disabilities who are interested in pursuing STEM​-related ​postsecondary education and careers.

Pathways to Science is a project of the Institute for Broadening Participation and supports pathways to the STEM fields (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) with a particular emphasis on connecting underrepresented groups with STEM programs, funding, mentoring and resources.
