CCIDS and Maine Roads to Quality Hosting Free Webinar on Maine’s New Inclusion Credential​

WebinarThe University of Maine Center for Community Inclusion and Disability Studies (CCIDS) is hosting a free informational webinar for early childhood professionals on the New Maine Inclusion Credential on Tuesday, December 16, 2014 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. EST.

CCIDS is developing and field-testing the Inclusion Credential as a collaborative partner in the Maine Roads to Quality Professional Development Network (MRTQ-PDN), funded by the Maine Department of Health and Human Services, Office of Child and Family Services. The credential recognizes enhanced knowledge and skill in the following areas of quality inclusive practice: Foundations of Inclusion; Child Development and Learning; Curriculum, Assessment, Instruction and Learning Environments; Building Relationships with Children and Families; and Professionalism.

Webinar presenters include Linda Labas, M.Ed., CCIDS Early Childhood Coordinator; Marnie Bragdon-Morneault, M.Ed., CCIDS Disability Inclusion Facilitator; Jennifer Maeverde, MA, LCPC, CCIDS Early Childhood Mental Health Inclusion Facilitator; and Debora Schofield, M.Ed., MRTQ-PDN Education Coordinator.

There is no cost to attend the webinar, but preregistration is required and kindly requested by Friday, December 12, 2014.
