Multilingual Health and Wellness Videos From New Mainers Public Health Initiative

The New Mainers Public Health Initiative, a public health agency located in Lewiston, ME, recently released four YouTube educational videos on topics such as healthy living, vaccine education and disease prevention.

An advocate for language justice, New Mainers made each of the four videos available in multiple languages; most commonly, Arabic, English, French, and Portuguese. Two of the videos are also available in Lingala, Somali and Swahili. Closed captions (CC) are available in the English, French and Portuguese videos.
