About:

Susan Russell is a doctoral candidate at the University of Maine where she is seeking a Ph.D in disability and public policy with a focus on family support for individuals with disabilities. She completed the Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and Related Disabilities (LEND) training in 2012. Ms. Russell is the Interim Associate Director at the Center for Community Inclusion and Disability Studies at the University of Maine, Maine’s University Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities and LEND Training Coordinator at the University of Maine. She is a member of the Maine Developmental Disabilities Council and a member of the University of Maine Institutional Review Board for human subjects research.
