About:
I am an adjunct professor of English at the University of Maine at Augusta as well as a yoga instructor, teaching trauma-sensitive yoga both locally and overseas. As a volunteer, I report and produce news reports for a community radio station and have published writings both in print publications and online. I have an A.B. in English Language and Literature from the University of Michigan and an M.A. in Humanities and Social Thought from New York University.
As a yoga instructor, I hope to share the physical and psychological benefits of yoga with those who have a disability. As a reporter, I wish to contextualize the experiences of those with developmental disabilities within the movement for human and civil rights worldwide.
