DePoy and Gilson are University of Maine professors of social work and interdisciplinary disability studies. DePoy is also cooperating faculty in mechanical engineering. Gilson is coordinator of interdisciplinary disability studies at UMaine’s Center for Community Inclusion and Disability Studies.
