Free Virtual Training for NH and ME Health Providers Supporting Children with Substance Exposure

This free NH-ME ECHO series aims to increase health providers’ knowledge of strategies, skills, and resources for supporting the complex needs of children with substance exposure in utero and their families.

Each of the eight sessions (please see dates and time below) builds on the content and information from the previous session, so it is highly recommended that participants commit to attending ALL 8 sessions. The training will be delivered via Zoom using a tele-practice model known as Extension for Community Health Outcomes or ECHO®. The ECHO Model® will use adult learning principles and video conferencing technology to connect community providers in NH and ME with specialists at local centers of excellence in real-time case-based learning and mentorship. During the eight-week ECHO, providers will build a community of practice with other professionals across disciplines.

Who Should Attend: Early childhood professionals, pediatric providers, home visitors, early supports and services providers, occupational therapists, speech and language pathologists, physical therapists, social workers, mental health professionals, and others supporting substance-exposed infants and their families.
