Avery Olmstead

Avery Olmstead is a communications professional, librarian, activist, writer, and public speaker. In 2012, Avery was the recipient of the CCIDS Daring to Dream Award in the area of Social Change, in recognition of his vision and leadership in promoting social change to advance the rights of people with disabilities. He holds a master’s degree in Library & Information Science from the University of South Carolina – Columbia.
