Webinar Series on Autism and COVID-19 Public Health
The Association of University Centers on Disabilities (AUCD) is hosting two webinar series during the month of April 2020. There is no cost to attend, but pre-registration is required.
AUCD’s Autism Special Interest Group (SIG) is sponsoring a 4-part Autism Acceptance Month Webinar Series for Autism Acceptance Month. Webinar topics and dates: Community Engagement Science in ASD (April 13th); Project ImPACT Evidence-Based Parent Training in ASD (April 15th); Family Navigation to Reduce Disparities in ASD (April 27th); and Adaptations of Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) for People with ASD (April 29th). Each webinar is 60-minutes and will be archived for future viewing.
AUCD is also hosting a 4-part COVID-19 Public Health Webinar Series during April to review what is currently known on disability inclusion as it relates to this emerging issue. Webinar topics and dates: Advice from Medical Providers (April 15th); Advice from Family Members and Caregivers on Dealing with COVID-19 (April 22nd); Advice from People Who Have a Disability on Dealing with COVID-19 (April 29th); and Advice on Your Questions (April 30th). Each webinar is 75-minutes and will be archived for future viewing.
