“IDS courses have shaped my perspective of disability in many ways. Before taking these courses, I viewed disability as something that prevented an individual from doing everyday tasks. Now, I have come to the realization that disabilities are what make people unique. As I continue going through life while learning about disability, I look forward to advancing the rights and accessibility of those around me who are disabled. Taking IDS courses have definitely given me a broader perspective of the world.”
