Information Dissemination

The Information Dissemination core function is guided by the following: CCIDS implements the principles of universal design in the development of publications, products, presentations, resources, curricula and virtual environments to meet the needs of multiple and diverse audiences; dissemination activities and products are identified as such and include recognition of AIDD and other funding sources; dissemination activities include partners, particularly individuals with IDD and family members; dissemination is integral to all CCIDS activities; information and resources reflect current and emerging best practices, respectful and culturally competent use of language, and translate research to policy and practice; and materials are offered free or at cost to individuals with disabilities and family members. Dissemination includes scholarly and community dissemination.
